Pulled a steering wheel off a 90 K1500 today, and swapped it onto my 87 K30.
Like a glove
But, the horn setups are different:
-the K30 used a 3-bolt ring (torx bolts) with a spring into a hole that allows the circuit to complete when pushed.
-the K1500 used a yellow wire with a female spade connector that clips onto a tab on the wheel button.
How does one go about connecting the 88-95 wheel horn button to a 87 and older rig? Is there something I still need to get at the junkyard?
Thanks in advance
Shane
