swapping a SB into a BB truck

OK so I bought the truck with out a motor, so no BB for me, but i do have a 350 TBI that i want to drop in there.
What problems do you think I'm going to face? also the truck has the hydro boost & the 350 came out of a 1/2 ton.

The work is being done on a 89' Crew, & engine came from an 89 1/2.

You'll need the right ECM (or at least PROM) for the 350, and re-pin some connectors, other than that I would think it's pretty straight forward.

See if you can find some info by searching, there have been a few posts covering specifics of a 350 to 454 swap regarding the injection portion, would be beneficial for you, since you are doing just the opposite.

yeah i bought the 1/2 ton as a whole truck, so i have all of that. I guess the main concern right now is, will the motor mounts need to be fabbed or moved?, or will the stock 350 mounts bolt right up to the frame?

The motor , should drop right in .
