Swapping early "bullet" style fuse block to late blade style?

I would like to swap my fuse block an wiring harness on my 78 over to the later(not sure what year they started) blade style. If i get the harness and fuse bluck from a later truck, will it swap right into mine for the most part?

you would need the wiring diagrams, but the chiltons manual should show you what you need. Just wire radio to radio, etc etc and should be no issues. Grab a good 8" of wiring at least off the newer one for splicing.
