Swapping tilt rear seat in a '74

Any reason not to swap the fixed seat in a '74 for a later model that tilts forward? I assume the older Sub rear seats will work?

I sorta like the tilt up seat in mine... but on the other hand i REALLY like the folding/removeable one that was in the 90 suburban...
but on the OTHER hand, even though i cut the floor out of a suburban and intended to swap one of those seats into my K5, after 6-8 years... i still have not :dunno:
 
I ended up getting some floor mounting point cutouts off of eBay that supposedy came out of a K5. I’ve seen several 3rd row Suburban seats that look the same As the K5. One guy local here selling a Sub 3rd row said he thought they fit K5’s with some kind of mod to the armrests. I’ve seen some 3rd row Sub seats with armrests and some without.

Anyone know the real story on the Sub seats working in a K5?
