I am thinking about putting crossover steering on my 72 3/4 ton suburban. the truck will be used for towing and some offroad. I have a four inch lift on it. Can i use the sway bar that i have installed? The sway bar is off of a 73 and up 4x4.

You can't keep the sway bar and crossover. You might be able to fab something up that would work but the stock 73- sway bar won't work.

Keeping the swaybar might be possible but don't count on it for sure. About all you can do is put the crossover on it and see if you can make it fit some how. I've seen crossover with a swaybar but it wasn't what I would consider a real functional setup. Looked like it would make contact with much suspension movement.
