Sweet Look for this 1990

Black on black is awesome. I really like the black and white two tone you have on your K5 too though. Im thinking of something similar when I build something nice.

That does look like something out of a movie. Notice the valet looks like he's about to make a run for it. Foot pursuit?

235's were the standard tire then.

Not on my 1991

Go with a 4" lift then add 33-12.5X15 rubber

Great compromise between super high lift/off road monster and the stocker grocery getter.

Can you imagine letting someone Valet your rig, though? *shudders*

Mine has so many quirks that no one but me can drive it without it stalling out or something. Drives the guys nuts at Discount Tire. I imagine a valet that's used to parking newer luxury cars would be quite frustrated.

That would be good for a few laughs. Get someone with twin sticks, a doubler, and SM465 to put everything in low low and then get the valet to try to park it. That guy would be ready to quit.

Did you keep your moulding or find a good vendor?

I just had my truck sides redone with new moldings. I bought mine at JC Whitney. It's identical to the factory. You want 2-1/2" W X 26' L (roll) Black w/Chromed Strip Cheyenne/Silverado-style Extra-wide Body Side Molding - $64.00 ( SKU # 1JA 075950 Manufacturer Number: 38-352.) I think LMC has the same roll, but at $89.00

Good looking truck RJB.

How's it handle the rear corners? Looks like GM had a special curved piece for the rear corners.
