That'd be handy.

Be really nice for removing a transmission.

That's cool. Now I want to put a table top on my hydraulic motorcycle lift too. Great, another project :doah: :D:D

If it is a gravity return on the hydraulics, it can either be lack of lubrication on the moving parts, a bad valve, and/or plugged return line or fitting. There isn't much to that system.

OMG, I would so jack out the center of my garage and flush mount that in the center.
Makes for working on just about anything much easier, especially the bikes.

You just gave me an idea. There is one for sale locally. No more lifting stuff onto a bench. Just roll on and raise.

well played with it and checked the basics for around 15 min takin my time.

it did go up . just no down . so I checked the switch and swaped them with up / down to see if it was a switch . nope still no down .

so I start looking around at the wires and there was mention of 2 limit safety switched in the sales packet I got emailed to me from southworth .

look under the table and there is a full floating rail all the way around the bottom of the table surface. keeps it from crushing anything when lowing .

well first switch I looked at was missing 1 nut and loose and out of adjustment . so I held it by finger and bam down she goes just fine .

so I rip the switch out get a nut for it and reinstall and adjust the switch . then checked the other one but he was good .

now I have a sweet new shop tool / toy . :D fixed for under $1.00 doller in parts . and 15 min time .

oh ya 3 1/2" on the ground and 36" all the way up . :thumb:

just need to whip up a nice little ramp for the end of it now .
