It is so easy, look at the conversion vans, the setup hooks up to the hinges on the barn doors.

Have the bumper curve around the edge of the body, and then put the tire mount point on the outer edge and use a j shaped mount that goes around the back ofthe burb.

Yeah, the bumper approach looks to be the right answer. If you hang it off of the door, eventually the door will fall off.

A setup like mine would work fine as long as you used a slightly more flush mount. My mount is set up to limit the travel - Thread here

his name is dean. have you seen it in person? there isnt a straight piece of sheetmetal or unbroken piece of glass on it! hes got airbags on top of each spring to lean the truck to one side if needed or boost ride height if needed. carrier bearing, 1410 drive shaft. its amazing. ill try to find out who made the bumper, i think it was someone locally.

i believe all the stuff on his sub is made by a guy here locally... give me a day or so to find out.

heres his email... i have his cell # but im not giving that out.

on top of each spring??? how does that work... shouldn't it be below each spring??? sounds like a fun thing to do.

It is on top of the spring between the spring and the frame to lift the truck away from the axle...:D
