My dad is helping an older lady clean out her garage and he found an old saw. He asked me if I thought it was worth anything but I have no idea. So, I'm asking you guys. :D

Any thoughts?

I don't know anything about it but I like the fact that there is no safety feature on the trigger. I find modern saws to be as awkward to use as modern gas can spouts, I wonder how many more accidents they cause than prevent :dunno:Maybe its just me :haha:

From a quick search it looks like the case and the saw do not belong together.
Syntron was a company in the 50s that came out with a radical new type of circular saw that was belt driven... Idk much else about that

And Powr Kraft looks to be a montgomery ward brand

It's a cool saw though either way I bet it's pretty heavy!

Yeah, I was gonna point out the "MW" logo on the "Powr Kraft" absolutely screams Monkey Wards. If that's not a blast from the past I donno what is.

You guys nailed that part of it. There is another tag on the bottom that says Montgomery Ward.

It's kinda a neat old saw but from what I gather not really worth anything.
