t-350 trans guage install

couple quick questions

1. where should I mount it.. cant do it in the very bottom of the pan because of my skid plate

2. do you guys bother using a actual trans gage or a water temp?


need to button this up.

jason4x4 just mentioned using a pressure port on the side of the trans but I can seem to find it with google.

I use temperature manifolds. If you want to get real fancy, you can put one on each cooler line. Then wire the gauge up so you can switch between the two.

In the Cummins Dodges we`d run them in the "out line" of the trans to the cooler to see the temp off the converter.
