tach and idle

what is your guys idle and shift points (rpm)

i just hooked my tach up and i idle in park around 1100! in drive about 700.
my 1st gear shift, when redlining is 4200. just wondering what you guys are running.

I believe a carb truck should be around 750-800 in neutral idle and 550-600 in gear.

My TPI is about 750 neutral idle and 650-700 in gear.

i've got the sm465 and at idle it sits at about 600rpms, i usually shift to second (actually 3rd, but i don't use granny around town) at about 2500 rpms, unless i'm getting on it then i shift at 5300 rpms.
