tahoe front clip

i saw a picture of a k5 with the front clip of a first gen tahoe... is this a body kit of some sort??

Has anyone seen in person how the front clip hooks up to the truck? Im interested in the swap as well but how well is the whole thing attatched?
Do you need mass tubing to mount it to? Is it flimsy lookin? Its the baddest front ive seen on that body style

i thought about just chopping and blending a later body style fenders with stock k5 fenders seeing how that would work.
