What's wrong with it specifically?
Personally, I think they are easy enough to fix/maintain. Pop off the access panel, wipe everything clean, put on some white lithium grease on gears and pivot points, and you should be good to go. You can also remove the gear motor assembly and grease it up. It only takes a few hours to do the whole thing.
