Tail lights for 76 K5? (pic included)

My tail light assemblies don't really fit on either side of my K5, is there certain years that only work for that year?



you can almost see where it screws into the tab on the truck, why would it be that way unless it wasn't a correct year?

housings upside down maybe? 73-91 all interchange...

Yeah, it's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like the backup light window is at the top (BU light should be at the bottom). If that's the case, switch left to right, right to left, and flip them over.

Proven and true . My 83 has one 74 and one 87 tailight
