Anyone of you ever think about installing one of these? Im tempted to put one in, for two reasons. One is that tools wont be flying around, and 2, nobody will be peaking into the back of my truck to see what nice tools there is to steal. Thought it would also be nice if I can ever find a soft top.

check it out below...

Not a bad idea, btu then if somethign went wrong with your tailgate mechanism you would have to remove it and the tailgate panel....

What about one of the plactic rubbermaid or similar box from Wal-Mart install in the back behind the seat?

I live in NYC.. a box is an open invitation to "Let me see whats hiding inside. Plus, a box really takes up a lot of the space in the rear for gear. In addition, when you have to do a repair, and you have a lot of stuff back there... you have to move all the stuff just to get to the tools on the bottom! I was just wondering if it would fit... I dont think I will be repairing my tailgate all that often. :)
