Tailgate Problems...

My 86 blazer with a power tailgate window likes to give me problems...heh heh..the latest is that the window will not roll up. When I hit the switch, I hear the motor churning, but the window does not roll up. Anyone else experience/fix this type of problem? Any tips before I try and fix?

sounds like you might have broken the cable if you can hear the motor turning' disconnect it from the little trans and see if its turning.

OHH YES....on the blazer i just got i have that same exact problem!! riht..you push the switch..hear it running..but no go...yea i was thinknig missing or broken gears!!??
