Thanks for the write up on the switch replacement. Ever since I swapped the tailgates on my 88 & 89, I've been procrastinating on swapping out the switches. This weekend its going to happen, and I'll finally be able to use the key again!

That's a great write-upp. I'v had lots of people e-mail me privatly because of the one I have on my web-page, it's really a problem that a lot of blazer/jimmy owner have. I think your write-upp describes it so well everyone could fix their own tailgate even if they are not to comfortable wrenching their own stuff.
