Tailgate swap ..need years

I did a search but could not find a post that listed the years a pickup tailgate would work on a 87 K5. Would someone that has done this swap please give me the years to look for in a tailgate.

Not sure on the years but I put a 78 Model Pickup truck tailgate on my 81 K5.

If you just stay within a few years 87 and below it should work.

Don't forget to get all the hardware from the truck bed. It will bolt right up and looks pretty good.

I think he wants a PU gate, but the years should still apply. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
