my tailgate window won't open. it is electircal. was working fine until i messed with the fuse box to fix a signal light fuse then no window. i checked the wiring (it's the light blue right?) what should I be looking for? Any way to open manually? where are the fuse or fuses for this window?l

There's a cable that's driven by the motor inside the tailgate. You need to grab a handheld drill, get back there and take off the tailgate guts cover, unscrew the cable from the motor, put it in the drill chuck, and use the drill to raise and lower your window.
I'd guess though, that your problem isn't inside the tailgate, but somewhere on the fuse block. I'd first make sure every fuse is seated properly, then start checking whichever ones aren't blatently labelled. I believe all power windows are on the same circuit/fuse, and I'm not at all sure, but I think they're on a circuit breaker. Pull the circuit breaker(s) and test them with an ohmmeter for resistance.

need help fast
ok I went back and checked what I had done. turns out i accidently disconnected the blue lead from the tail by the fuse box. one problem now. I got the tailgate to open but now it won't close.
checked the rearfor power and it's getting electricity but wont go up. also checked the orange and black wire i think this is for the safety on the tail window, no juice front or back circuits seem fine (other windows work, and the tail window will pwer down but not up???) Have I missed something?

I think orange is the "up" wire. I just had my pass door apart this weekend, and accidentally broke off the brown wire from the switch. Window would go down, but not up, until I re-spliced on that wire. Can you open the regualtor cover and apply power directly to the motor with jumper leads to make it move?
