I'd love to have a helmet like that(would have started with a black one myself) but I'd ruin it. I always get real close to what I'm welding and my shields are covered in spatter burns. See a lot of those things here at Wyotech. I should stop in the school lobby sometime and take pictures for you guys. Hell the toilet paper dispenser in our mens room is painted with a flame job

This one was black before I started, they actually hold up pretty well. I painted my dads about 2 years ago and he welds alot and doesn't care what his looks like so it gets used and abused but still looks decent. I just do these for fun mainly as christmas presents plus the practice is good for me.
