Just got through putting a 2.5 inch lift kit on my buddies 1990 bronco. Let me tell you I will never ever again (did I say never) put a lift kit on something without a solid front axle. Not sure what ford was thinking putting that TTB **** in there trucks but that was the biggest PITA I've ever done on a truck. But the truck does look pretty BA now with his new 33s. I'm still glad I've got a Chevy.

Just wait until he has to replace those "new" 33's next year :whistle:

Lifted TTB trucks are SUPER hard on tires :eek1:
 
That is the benefit to solid axle rigs, if the alignment isn't right you know something is either broken, bent or worn.

IFS rigs have issues too. The lifts are expensive and beyond a certain point CV axles take a beating.
