TALL truck... but, damn I like it.

I'm torn, half impressed someone has the stupiduty to build something like that. Half disgusted at the waist of good axles and tires.
So, why is it stupid... cause it soemthing that you wount build.
Waste of axles... whatever.

Too many close minded jerks out there.

Although I would not personally build (or be able to afford to) "that" truck, I give the kid credit. Not many 19 y/o nowadays want to "build" there own vehicle. Most kids around here just driver whatever they have around or buy a Honda and build it like a model kit. I swear half the plastic accessories and wings they put on the imports around here have "Testors" or "Monogram" printed on them :p:

Yes, Mommy and Daddy footed the bill for that thing, but he could have gone out and bought a luxury car or pimped out a ricer. I give the kid credit for doing what he did.....

rockwells and 52s can you say "breakage"
Break what? I have never seen Rockwells fails. I say the weakest link would be his suspension set up. Always was mine with 17 inches of lift and 44's behind a big block, the 1 ton never failed was everything around it ;)

1 tons I can see breaking... but not the Rockwells. Look at about all the big bogs... even the internet sites... they all run Rockwells on the big boys.

go to pirate were people actually run them (I havent seen any body over here running them) people break stubs all the time w/ stock stubs, they are only about as strong as 35spline D60 outers (which dont get me wrong are strong), if you dont believe me go to pirate4x4 and search they have post about it all the time, under a fullsize I wouldnt go above 44s on a buggy though I run 48s, and you also have to remember how much heavier military tires are in compared w/ swampers, but somebody over on pirate is coming out w/ 47spline alloy shafts for the rockwell, so its on when those come out

Man, some people just dont read the whole thread, or dont care to.

I am talking about MUD here... deep bog mud! Not rock which is like cement. Yeah, pull a tire up and spin it at 60 mph and slam it down on rock... almost anything will break.

Mud is much more forgiving on shockload of parts. Thats why I have a friend that runs a BUILT 383 on 1/2 ton gear and 39.5 Boggers and hardly ever breaks them. He runs competition BOGS, not wheels and trails, etc.

Stock Rockwells and 44+ tires will do the trick in BOGS.

Once again... why, just because it isnt something you would do?
 Look, it is a good truck to sit in front of and look at but it is retarded because it is no where near safe to be driven on the street. That thing would easily drive right over the top of your normal small commuter car and wind up rolled over in the process probably killing the bone head 19 yr old driving it from all that weight from rockwells and michelins. (I have not read anything about a full roll cage in that thing) I am glad you guys in AZ have easy lift laws, I got a mudflap ticket for 35's here, thats dumb IHMO but a truck three stories tall is not safe and would be pulled off of the street within 5 miles of crossing the California border and litterally for once in my life....I agree with the CHP.

I just like it for a bog truck. I could CARE LESS if its street legal... and you dont need a cage in the bogs.

People are just so critical of others work. Always have to bitch about something.

I try to avoid Pirate4x4 as much as possible :p: but I'll believe you. Only personal experience I have had with Rockwells is under stock Army stuff.

how the hell does he get in it

i also give him credit for building the truck instead of a stupid honda with a fart can, im only 17 and im the ONLY truck in my school parking lot, they are all stupid little imports, people look at me like i have 20 heads or something when i pull up.

I think more young people should start building trucks:D

There is stuff under the mud. Solid ground, logs, rocks, its not mud from here to center of the earth. I want to see the rear suspension. I believe its just drop brackets and is unsafe.

I think it would be cool if it has some Nitrogen Shocks and 4 link...plus some wider tires and a tad less lift...It look like its gonna tip over if i look at it wrong.
It is cool that he would rather have a truck then a ricer...but to each his own, i go to school with a kid who has an Eclipse, and to be honest I kind of like it. He has exhaust but not Fartcan he has some taste full ground effects, mostly because when he got in a wreck they were cheaper then new stock parts. Coolest thing about the car is that he shaved his door handles. I think it looks really clean. he doesnt have it done yet though. He is gonna aget some rims this spring and then start the engine Mods.

Ithink its sick. It was posted here for everyone to bash when it had the lift and small tires. Im not a big fan of the grille, and it coulda had a Diesel, but its still sick. I lOVE the mud flaps.

I wouldn't bog that truck either. One soft hole on one side and tha whole truck is going over.

I'm not criticizing the way he built it, I could care less myself about the truck because I'll probably never see it in person and once this thread is dead, probably never hear of it again. I just stated it wasn't my taste.

Man we need a pissing contest smile:rolleyes: But serously i think its over done but its still cool of that dood that he drives it and it aint a trailer queen and i dunno some people will like it some wont i feel the same way about a truck with 4" lift and 38"s some people love it some hate it so whatever its good and bad. what ever
