TBI-Carb, what gas tank to use

i was going to just modify my existing sending unit to work with a carb setup.
BUT i attempted to remove the sending unit, and it wont budge because i had POR15'd the whole tank thinking i was going to run the TBI again.

so my question is what year tank and sending unit would work best.
the motor is a 454 with a 770 Holley street avenger.
so i only would need a feed line from the tank and thats it.

Does the in tank pump still work? If so, use it along with a pressure regulator that has a provision for a return hose. I did this on both my K5 and Ratzilla's Sub.

i dont know, i havent been able to start the truck for about a year.
