Also, to add to your mounting costs.... the factory electric pump will be much happier and last longer if you use a regulator with a provision for a return line.

What? How does 1 do that? Gonna have 2 pumps. 1 each tank.. i dont have return line b4 when i had elec pump?

A factory pump would utilize a return line, the helps the pump to run cooler. When a pump has resistance (regulator) and cannot free flow it will build up heat, it won't kill it immediately but it won't live as long as it would have. Not sure how your set up needs to be plumbed but the 87 sending unit should have had an extra port to attach a return to.

It does... and i have a full return system. My q is do i take 1 port off the regulator and go back? Or is there some other way?

Currently there is fuel / vent / return line. Fuel and return goto dual tank solenoid then 2 lines out to motor. Im only using one so i can easily hookup a second. Just not sure if it is that simple...

You can use a regulator port IF it's a return style regulator, it'll have one specifically marked "return".

See if others chime in before stressing over it, I could be wrong.
