Pretty much as the title says.
Would a '92 TBI fit an '89 etc? Voltage differences for idle control?
Any differences over the years from '89 to '94?
Car to truck?
Any links you could point me to would be great.
Thanks!

They are pretty much the same body and injector pod. 4.3L and other smaller displacement are smaller bore then 5.0L/5.7L and 7.4L is a bigger bore.

Some IAC and TPS have differant plugs that can easily be re-wired.

Injector size is specific to engine displacement.

Knew the bore size and injector info but didn't about the plugs being different.
Thanks.
Got my hands on some NOS truck TBIs from '91-'94 and just want to make sure before I go swapping injection setups.

Well if you get a complete TBI with differant plugs you can wire in a new pigtail. The sensors themselves are differaant mounting and plugs. IAC and TPS.

I used an NOS 92 throttle body on my 88 350TBI a few weeks ago, I bought an adapter plug to mate the two. The only surprise was one of the new injector pods did not spray, just dripped. Had to buy a new injector to replace my new injector:haha:

There was a ton of so called NOS TBI bodies for sale on eBay a few years ago. New and looked like GM units, but had ground off torx screws holding on throttle blades, origanal units have the screws punched. I think someone bought a ton of rejects. Just check them over. The ones I got worked fine.
