Thanks, its just alot of work to rebuild one completly and make it right.

Wow that 2nd pic looks really familar, the one of the stripped interior, oh wait, that's because it nearly identical to my 86 :doah:

Looks great, what are the specs on it (drivetrain, lift, tires)?:D

Got new seat cover ordered from Classic Industries. Having uphlostery guy make new side panels for the back to match the original style. Just need new dash pad and bezel to finish up.

Getting close to have the interior done after 3 month of working at it.

New seals, new windows, new carpet, new door handles inside and out, alot of new trim inside, cleaned and rebuilt inside ac/heat unit, cleaned and rebuilt window regulators, cleaned and replaced wiring, cleaned and repaired gauge cluster, rebuilt steering column. Painted top to match interior, recovered headliner.

After this it on to the chassis rebuild

I wish mine was that clean. Today I kneeled on my drivers side rocker pannel and it fell out from under me.

Waiting on new seat cover to come in.
Finally talked to my upholstery today about remaking the rear 1/4 panels to look like factory. Said it shouldn't be any big deal.

So almost done with the inside.

Put the headlights, grill and bumpers on for now, starting to look like a real K5 again.
I just feel like I have to built several times to find all the parts and get it back together right.

That was put under there years ago, has 5.13 w/ posi in it. If I can found a 60 for a good deal, and the money holds out, I would like to change it out.

That is what they are. Its been along time sense I drove it, but what I remember they always preformed pretty good. I may put something else on after I get running, don't know how good they are after setting all these yrs.

16.5 x 14 weld super single II, going to freshen up the old motor with some new stuff, so it should make about 425 to 450 hp when done.

Truck looks great, almost makes me want to keep mine red :D. We were talking in my build thread about my front hangers, I had a thought. You said you ditched th 3" bl , but wanted to make up for it some, what about doing a 1" bl from ORD and a 1" zero rate. That would give you back 2" and allow you to move the front axle forward a bit to keep the tires away from the pretty sheet metal. Just a thought ;)
