Th350 leaks

Hello I have a 79 blazer with a 350/350/np203. This thing pours out fluid. It appears to be coming from the top where the trans and transfer case meet. What should I do to fix this or what are common leaks that look like they come from there. And I found my crossmember on the 203 very loosely mounted. And on the inside of the adapter plate where it bolts to the trans those four bolts very loose. Could that have something to do with it? Thanks

Yes, those four bolts need to be tight.

Tighten them up, clean off the area, and see if that fixes your problem.

agreed, and take a close look at the rear of the trans and be sure there isn't a crack in the tail area, that is quite common when things have been loose for a while.

Any specific torque specs? Should I loctite the bolts before putting them in?

I recomend blue locktite, and snug these up tight enough to hold but not so tight you rip the threads out.
