TH400 Joke or major issue?

Transmission in my 86 K5 (CUCV) has a minor leak, spent a bit of time pulling the pan to swap the gaskets + change the filter, etc.

Looked at the magnet for filings, and there's a whole damn bushing stuck to it :-O No damage to bushing, no large metal particles, etc. Transmission seems to operate otherwise normally.

The bushing is exactly 1/2" OD. Any ideas where it came from? Maybe a bad joke by the last person to work on it?

Isn’t there a tubing spacer on the filter bolt?
 
haha, so likely a joke I played on myself... Got it :-) Thinking back the filter was rigid... which wouldn't be true unless there was a spacer on the bolt.

Getting a new pan with a drain plug, I blame the "controlled spill" for making me miss it falling.
