Thank you Every body for the Blazer-Fest

Chris (Frizzlefry), my cousin lives in Fresno, too! We go up to see him every once in a while, last time we went up to Courtwright Reservoir (and man, I wish I would have brought the Blazer when I saw all the Jeeps starting up on the Dusy-Ershim trail!) :) If you are interested, that event is on Labor Day weekend up there by Shaver, the exact name escapes me right now, but it is something like "Sierra Poker Run" or something...if you are a member of California Association of 4 Wheel Drives it is in the "In Gear" newspaper...one of the local Fresno clubs is putting it on I think. Sounds like fun, the two main trails are going to be "Swamp lake Trail" and the "Bald Mountain Trail" I guess?? You ever been on those? If some of you Central Cal folks want to meet there, that could be a fun trail ride and camping weekend, it is such beautiful country up there!

As far as a trip to Tierra del Sol, I am all for it. I will help lead the event if that is what we end up deciding to do! I know that Ken has been there a lot, and every time we mention going there he always wants to go, so maybe he can help me plan it? I have been there once, it is an awesome place, you could wheel for weeks and still find new stuff! If you guys think this is a possibility, let me know and I will start up a post to gauge the interest. Other possibilities to be considered down here would be the Big Bear area and also Los Coyotes (if the Indians keep it open that long!) I like Tierra del Sol because it has terrain that most trucks can have a lot of fun on - some hardcore, some easy, lots of in between!

This could be fun!!

Ok A) driving to Hollister was no biggie, and this coming from the guy who appeared at 2:00Am on Sat morn. Its a great area, and its nice to get away,

B) im all for a nice big run down here, Los Coyotes was a blast, and TDS would be great, i went on the 33rd? TDS with my buddy, and it was great, good terrain, and most of it a fullsize will fit thru. If youguys get the ball rolling, i'll help out anyway i can.

Ok, I think I will start a post and see if anyone is interested in a little get together at Tierra del Sol later this year. The holidays are always a tough time for most people, so I was thinking maybe late October would be better than November/December? Hopefully after I start the post people will give me their ideas...so look for a post about California Blazer Fest - Tierra del Sol or something...
