why don't you just fly to Portland and we can drive up to Seattle..then I can follow you back to here in case there's an issue

Gonna drop it and make it nice. I gotta get the thing first. I haven't had a 2wd square for a long time. There are many ideas rolling around in my head.

I have thought about this Jack or just detouring to your place.

One of the reasons I had Sean looking for me is cause I trust his judgement on things. Anyway you slice it I'm flying up and driving over 800 miles home.

Odometer says 66925 Sean is thinking that's the actual mileage.
 
The one thing I will be searching high and low for but will likely be a while before I can afford it is a gear vendors. Cost between a used one and a nv4500 or 4l80 swap might be pretty close
 
used 4L80's are $400- $1000 all day long on CL up here...NV4500 run $1400...GL on finding a gear vendor not in a vehicle..there are only 2 on CL for Seattle and Portland and both are in rigs.....

the name has already been chosen..its on a need to know basis and right now..you don't need to know :reddevil:

oh..its also quicker and flatter to drive from Seattle to my house to your house,,than to cut across washington. its way way better if the weather is touch and go also
 
This thing is solid! Scored it for 500 bones after the PO couldn't get it running. Replaced the ignition module and it purrs like a kitten! Since then, plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, fixed the washer pump, some wiper blades and front shocks and she's buttah! The cruise control even works. I think we did pretty well.
 
I'm not really sure I can ever ride in that with you @blazinzuk . I mean, without little bits of headliner floating around it just wouldn't be the same... :D

A/C doesn't blow cold, I assume it just needs freon. It still has R12 valves on it. And the rear A/C fan has had it. Comes on but makes terrible noises. Probably just needs the fan motor. Otherwise I haven't found anything that doesn't work.

If I keep it for a while the 454 will stay. Some sort of overdrive. Much suspension work i.e bags.

But likely it will stay very close to stock. Why? Cause tow rig.

He found it. Fixed it up and now waits on me to sell my burb.:bow::bow:
 
I didn't catch the 454 part....... In that case I would have said
