I just ordered my lift today. I'm so pumped!!!!! I still need a bunch of things though so I can't put it on right away. Rough Country is running a special for a 4" lift with rear blocks for 295.00. That includes shocks, brake line brackets and the steering arm and the usual goodies that comes with a lift. Did I mention I'm so excited?? I still need the parts to relocate the shocks, steering box brace, extended brake lines, swaybar disconnects, helper springs (for saggy butt), and possibly some other little goodies here and there. And some tires!!!! Oh man! Did I mention I'm so excited??
The muddin is having a good day....

Congrats! That was the same lift that I got for mine. Just dont leave it the back of your Blazer ... LOL. Anyway, it only took 2 days for it to be delivered. You might check with BlueBlazer62 because he just got and installed this lift too. Good luck with it!

We obvisously know where to get the fronts...but who makes em for the rear like that....I thought they were all custom fab yourself type deal?? I could be in the dark though.
Anyhow, congrats and good luck.

Yes, that's what I'm doing. I think you use ford style shock mount towers for the front. I'll have to read the write up again on the rear. I meant by pars as fabing stuff and getting what I need to do it.

I know that I am a dumb-ole redneck from GA but do you have to relocate your shocks? I had a 79 Chevy P/U and I installed my 4 inch lift. I got shocks that were long enough to go back in the original space. I am going to do a 4 inch lift in the future, do I need to do this? No heavy wheeling here, just so weekend romps in the mud and on the trails.

I'm at 10th and Plum....10 miles from nowhere, and Plum out in the sticks....Stuck?...Hell no..I still got some gas left..

I'm relocating my shocks so I can get better travel. It's a choice. You don't have to do it. I just want a flexy bastard

CONGRATS LARA! Finally... I know you been wanting to lift the blazer for a long time now. I'm on the other end of this ride now. I just got all my parts in my garage for my axle swap & 6" lift. I start the air tools ripping tomarrow morning! I also bought a digital camera so I could get some pics up finally... but before I went and got it the pics went down... then I went and got it and found my computer went down... motherboard is shot so now I was up late last night building this turd of a 486 out of spare parts just so I can get my CK5 fix.... I'll make my next post in one hour after this one finally goes through... so slow... But me, like you Lara am very excited! Good luck!

I actually have a lot more stuff to gather before I put the lift on. I'm gonna do a write up for steve on all of it.

So Lara you gonna try and take on Glenn (DepDog) for thge flexist K5 spot? LOL

I have been thinking about doing a write up on the 6" lift, but not sure... It's kinda a straight forward deal and no one seems to really read them much. That and things like the shackle flip, spring brand, etc. are pretty individual orinated. Might do one and focus on the drive line mods and decisions... shims or no shims... Cv or no CV... tcase drop? 1 or 2" or not at all. I 'm not sure if people would be interested... hey gang... let me know your thoughts!
