I finaly got my 3/4ton swap and the lift done this weekend and I don't think I have stopped grinning yet. :D It turned out better than I hoped it would. I also wanted to thank everyone on here for making this site great, I couldn't have done it without all the info available here. Now for pics, What does everyone think?

Great lookin burb! :waytogo: Good stance, mean looking tires and rims!
Got a couple quick ?'s for ya, if ya don't mind: Are those standard H1's, if so, how are you running them, spacers? If so, how thick?
Thanks man! Sweet looking rig!

Wow that looks nice! I always liked the look of H1 rims. Gives your truck a military and robust look. How heavy are those rims and where did you get them? What size Hawgs? Again, looks great!

It rides nice compaired to other lifted trucks that I have been in and for not having front shocks on yet, no flexing yet but it should do well I hope. Yes, they are standard H1 wheels with 2.5" spacers, I got them from a local guy so I didn't have to ship them and the tires are 14/35-16.5 The wheels aren't that heavy alone but with the tires mounted the are REALLY HEAVY!! I used the mag run flats with the run flat cut down, they seem to fit fine. The only thing that I had trouble with if finding parts for the wheels(studs, o-rings, ect...) I have part #s and where I got the stuff if anyone wants.

SixPenny,
Could you post your front and rear track width (tire center to tire center) for both front and rear? That would help me alot. Those part numbers and info on studs, o-rings, etc. would also be helpful. THanks.

Cool! Thanks for the info! My buddy is looking to run H1's like yours on his Blazer and we're trying to figure out the best way to do it. Thanks, and again, that's a great looking Burb you've got there! :waytogo:

H1 Wheel info

The o-rings came from http://www.marcorubber.com/material_selection.htm the are -457, that size is small though so I used some rtv and kinda glued it in the groove. The nuts are from fastenal and they are top lock flange nuts 1/2x20. The studs where harder to find but I found them at http://www.real4wd.com/default.asp?mnu=1&cat=6 part#12342758 they also have the o-rings and the nuts but they are alot more expensive than the places that I listed. They also have everyother part for the H1 wheels just be willing to pay.

Looks great man! You've got a pretty clean burb there.

Are you gonna cut the front "fangs" off the fender??

I just did the other day the tires were into them too bad. I also messed up a tire the other day on the first time out. A piece of shale from a logging road went through the thick part of the lug and there was a piece of the rock in the tire about 2" in dia. I wasn't even really "offroad" when it happened is the part that sucks. I tried to have someone patch it on the inside but it didn't hold so I have a brand new junk tire.

Nick

That sucks that you ruined a tire:mad:

I bet the tree-hugging liberals there just LOVE you, eh?

Burb

Dude, That is Rad!!!!! I'm about to do a 1 ton swap in mine....What do I need to put a set of the H1 wheels on mine.

for the least mods, you can run a set of dually 1 tons. dana 60 and 70HD rear. or you can run some spacers on the axles if ou like. also if youve already got your 1 tons you can swap your single wheel hubs for dual wheel hubs.
