my steel conversion is way more pretty than his lol. of course our tailgates look to be about in the same condition. i also found out yesterday that my truck was not a factory stepside, but a home built one. How do i know? they bed, yeah it wasnt attached to the truck. but i have it all straightened out now. im never buying a truck from a good ole country boy again. this thing has so many redneckisms on it isnt funny

not to be a d-bag but where does this section say classifieds? post a picture of the said truck and let the information gather.

There has been one for sale down the road from me, that has been used as a work truck. It seems to be pretty intact to.

I have one out back of my shop. not sure of the year 2wd 3/4 ton 6.2 diesel all rusted to crap. I got it for nothing with no papers. non runner. A buddy of mine's dad used to own it in the 80's so I know it wasn't rednecked together.:haha:

Heres a couple pics of an ex. cab. There was one one these sittin in a town near me for like 10 grand.

I just spotted one at pic and pull the other day extra cab it looked to be pro done but was still a little wierd looking.

NO not scrap I guess. I will be using the drive train and motor on a 75 k5, the cab is going to a friend for pre smog use, and the long bed will be turned into a off road trailer.

I just came across this one. I believe it may have been a '79. It was my company truck back in the middle/late 80's. I worked for Moore Golf Inc. after I quit college. (4.0 in accounting) Now I'm an HVAC Tech. Much poorer than I could have been, but I love my job and would have Hated working out of an office. Oops, side tracked. Oh well, here it is. Not a great pic, but it's all I got for now. Kinda wish I was back in that shape though!
