The headache build..

I just realized I haven't said anything about this motor.
It is a 604 with old Dart 360 heads. 13.7 to 1 compression
Cam has over .800 lift, Two ninety something/Three hundred something @.050
Brodix intake with two stages of nitrous. ( I was only running one stage when I was racing.)

It makes 1423hp and 1221lbs on one stage of nitrous. With two stages activated it makes 1600-1700 hp depending on how much nitrous we want to use.
Jezzuz christ... so what the hell is that tt lsx making? 2000 hp???

Supposedly yes. Which is why I upgraded the motor. One Problem is he also upgraded during the off season.
Problem two is there is other trucks making less power than we are and running just as fast or faster than ours.
We have something wrong with the combo. We have a few leads and we are going to work them out.

Your face is in the cover of the Rollin Stone

Not really

But your butt is on the cover of CK5!

Badass! I'm guessing there are vids on you tube of this thing. I've always wanted a 632 like the truck pulling guys run. They are so badass running wide open at full load.

Wow! On July 29, this thread will be 10 years old.:eek1:
Well, sorry for the lack of updates, but I really didn't do much for the last few months, then it was a mad rush to get the Headache back together for a race on the 22nd.

Frist, I bought another torque converter, then I sent out the Th400 out to be converted into a two speed.
The conversion took some time which I used to save some money to pay for it.
The vacuum was taking a nose dive during my last outing. We found a leak on the manifold china rail, and pulled the intake manifold. We found another problem with the coolant ports. A mismatch between two different manufacturers (Dart heads and Bodix intake). Why didn't these A"holes just copy the factory chevy stuff? Anyway, we build up the bottom of the intake with marine epoxy and hope that works.
We got the transmission back a week and a half ago and the mad rush was in.
Oh, I also went from my rear mount gas tank to which was sending rusty fuel through my fuel system and a pain to to drain after the races, to a front mount three-gallon fuel cell.

On to the videos.

Well, this thread is now officially 10 years old.
Where has the time had gone?
Anyway, I thought I had fixed some of the Photobucket links but until my account was hit I didn't know for sure.
I'm up to page 18, so I'm almost done.

Ugh, I still have a problem with the alternator. That is a 6 amp draw with the blazer off. 20170816_180051.jpg
