The headache build..

I think I going to try repair the speaker holes the PO installed in the bed sides.

Think of it as a 6x9" speed hole!

That is one ugly speed hole.

For a while I was thinking to clean up the hole by making it bigger, following the body lines and putting a a carbon fiber inter panel to cover the holes. Somebody suggested I fill the holes thinner sheet metal.

Option 1 would be trick and save the most weight, but I feel it would look dated in a few years. It is also most expensive.

Option 2 is harder to pull off. (I afraid of the panel warping) but would look stock and cheaper. It would be a heavier.

I sold the 14bsf and bought another rear end. It should be here next week.
But along with the rear end, I also bought an aluminum hub kit.
I also bought a pair of 15lbs bottles since I didn't have any bottles before and I was borrowing bottles.

We bought the hubs and rear end from Power Pro racing products . The housing and internals are all from Strange rear ends .Next step is to mock up the spring perches and find the ideal pinion angle . I'm hoping to order some fully boxed Cal Trac perches and get some more updates soon . It's almost race season ...
