The howdiymobile may be getting replacement

I'm looking at a blazer in "good" condition today. One of my friends dad has it. It has a blown motor, So it may get the heart of the howdiymobile. It will get the 400, 205 and 39.5's, and the 4" TC springs.

What would you offer for a blazer in decent condition with a blown motor. 800-1000? He said he just wants to get rid of it.

i got my blazer for 1200 bucks and i drove it home....i dont know the condition of the paint,rust,ect so i cant tell thats just what i got mine for..oh and it was f/i

I paid 500 for mine not running. bad t-case and some rust around wheel wells.

HOWDILY: what truck u have now anyhow? and what year is the blazer anyhow? u never seem to say anything with the *year* or *what kind* and the pics u have posted thats supposedly be ur *truck* has no dent or anything to add one zero rate. how abt some *proof* u own the truck? i dont mean to sound like a dick. just wondering what the heck do u own! for real.

EDIT// just looked at yourr history post. u got a 78 stepside? its a nice truck. but hey, u say one side is bent and needs a zero rate on one side? where is it? and whos the driver? looks older than 16. so im outta here.

as for the blazer, i would offer 500ish with a blown motor, but good shape,
sometime u get lucked out and get a running blazer with few rust for 500. sometime its a grand, sometime its free.. just got to see whos selling. close friends, people want u to clean up their yard, some will pay u to get the truck out of the yard, happened to me when i was doin scrap.

like i say its a nice truck. but cant u get one of u right next to it. then we will probably believe it. and one not driving around, pic of engine bay. or anything. like that.

there we are, its getting better. one problem.. where are u supposed to add zero rate? i dont see anything wrong with ur front end???

The front axle misaligned like an inch. Thats all. You would never notice it

The frame flexed a lot. It turns out that the body mounts were very loose. My arm got tired ratcheting them. I may add 56" rears to fix the shackle angle and hopefully the rear will flex more.

I haven't flexed since I tightened the body mounts. I need to put a fan on.
