The Illustrated Toolbox

That's an old school fridge too. Haven't seen one like that in a long time. :pimp: :thumb:

Careful bringing up toolboxes on CK5... Lol!

I just recently started stickering the toolbox again. The fridge though...

Are you ordering stickers? All of mine came with parts.

No...I spent one whole evening writing all the vendors who products I used while restoring the Blazer...I sent the a photo of the Blazer where I could and requested stickers and garage banners...

I keep getting loads of stickers, hats, shirts, banners, coupons, products...etc...

The only one I bought was the Bear...I saw it and wanted it...oh...and the old 1970's Richard Petty sticker...I bought that one...it was the real thing...slick brown paper backing from the 70's

and i have never seen stickers in with parts....ever...except Summit Racing..

Awesome gives me faith in once. They said they would send one for 7.99... No thanks!

I need some barn decor maybe I should look into banners

Interesting.. Every aftermarket part I have bought from jegs, summit or even amazon has come with stickers as long as it's in the factory box.

I'm going to Top Line Tires on Tuesday....I had to get a tire patched yesterday and I asked the manager if he had any shop banners they weren't using....he said "not here, but my store is across town...we got boxes full over there"...he gave me his card and said come by on Tuesday...

Don't know what they got or if I will even want them...

I buy almost all my parts local...because when I need them I want them quickly...that's probably why...parts chains just don't put the stickers in there

Or they are on the back of the counter guys cavalier :)

I drove a Cavalier in 1988....I have never, ever put a sticker on any car I have ever owned....front tags, yes....stickers...no

Nor have I. When I see someone rolling with a Flowmaster sticker, I think "I bet it's all stock except for the mufflers". On the other hand, when I see one with a thousand stickers on it, it's a cross between "we get it already- it's a race car" and "I bet he doesn't have half those parts installed". I think toolboxes/garages are much more appropriate. Just like your tools, your stickers can span multiple cars/projects and you can put all the vulgar and humorous stuff that you wouldn't want on your ride.

Plus, none of mine are trail rigs. I think they're too nice for stickers. There's no improvement to be made with a 50 cent sticker.

ORD, DIY4X, WFO, Ruffstuff ... all the cottage industry wheeling places do it. Call it advertising or call it vendor support, your choice.

I also got 'em with aftermarket stuff like Borgeson, B&M, Autometer, Accel ... not so much with stock replacement stuff from the local parts house, no.

Here's a sticker I actually bought...it is vintage and not repro...I remember this sticker back in the 70's a mechanic where my Dad worked had this on his toolbox..

I remember staring at it and my Dad didn't care but my Mom pulled me away...

It;s not much worse than the old 1970 Coppertone Suntan Ads
