Installed a Fasttrac Soft Top and a P/U tailgate today, and lost an easy 300+ lbs. The soft top was a simple install, just need to get it adjusted so the fit is completely correct, and the P/U tailgate was the easiest of swaps. We found a junkyard tailgate and all the hardware last weekend, and had it painted when we had to hood fixed after my close encounter with a turkey.

ive always liked your truck, that just makes it better /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

Is that a blck top or grey? its looks nice with the grey paint.

You got some pics of the install/harware for the pickup tailgate /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Fred,

Very /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif - good idea on the tailgate.

Never would have thought to put a pickup gate on the back. I want some pics too if you have any available. Sharp looking Jimmy. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Are you going to put the brushed alum. panel back on the tailgate?

I don't want to hijack the post, but I'm toying with the idea of soft-topping my truck, has anybody seen this or know someone who has done it?

I don't think the Blazer aluminium panel would go on a truck tailgate -- at least without tweaking, and if I look right, it'd block the handle.

No, that's just one less piece of trim I have to worry about, and I don't want to spend the money to find one that goes with the p/u tailgate.
