When I lifted my 89 k5, I had to get a new rear d-shaft. I went with a double-cv style. The SYE is the way to go, but if you dont have the money, at least get the dbl cv style rear shaft. The truck was vibe-free after that
 
when you say vibes...are you talking about the vibrations that I get under 5mph when starting and stopping? i have been blaming that on the aggressive mud terrain tires...

That IS the tires. He's talking about driveshaft vibrations. Tom Woods offers the SYE and a new shaft in one package. The bonus is that his shafts are guaranteed and he will stand behind his work. Prob around 4-500 bucks total but worth it. Believe the website is 4xshaft.com...

This^^ with a 4" lift on my 89 k5(back in the day) and the 4" lift on my 86 M1009, both trucks had a terrible driveline vibration until I put the dbl cv d-shaft in
