the LIFE table build

Old 1/2 hp Taiwan black grinder my dad got 30ish years ago . Then i found this Rockwell / Baldor 1/3 hp unit last year .

Whats a multi grinder setup ? @KirsL

We had a 2 grinder setup at work for a long time.

1 wheel- corse for steel.
Wire wheel next to it.

1 wheel- fine for steel.
1 wheel- medium designed for soft metal like aluminum.

So this smaller table just under 4x6 i built took a trip today to the truck scale .

Grand total was 8,140 lbs in truck . Then out of truck 6,740 lbs . That gives us a 1,400 lb table .

I even got out some #2 copper and popped on a dedicated welder ground lead @8ft long .

Got my 3rd table done . 4ft x 6ft and i did a storage shelf below and used it for 9 jack stands / rail road track cut off chunks storage spot . I had a section of heavy expanded metal just the right size and just had to trim the corners and 1.5" off yhe length and it dropped right in perfect .

Just read through this, really nice tables. The ground bolt is a great idea, starting to plan workbench in new garage, won’t be this beefy but one can dream
