removed the old amp they had under the drivers side seat..

All of the speakers, ground, power, everything was ran under the drivers side seat when the door/dash speakers should be running to the head unit..
So i had to remove the seat, pull up the carpet and run everything accordingly

Its all back together now along with my new amp + sub.

Here are a few pics from the work.

Here is all the orig wires coming from under the passenger seat.

For now the amp will remain under the seat, but with only the sub and ground, ect going into it like it should be.

Look for a steering wheel out of a 1988-1993 Chevy pickup. You'll thank me later.

Everyone regrets that steering wheel down the road! Just wait...

Looks good with the chrome blacked out. I'll be curious to see how it holds up. Did you scuff it or anything?

why will i regret the wheel? hahaha, i planned on replacing it with a nicer grant, i found this thing at a garage sale for 1$ hehe.

As for the plasti dip, the directions say to only clean everything really good before applying, no sanding needed all though you can if you want and it will make it harder to remove, but its holding up great so far no peeling or anything and it has a hard texture, kinda feels like a bed liner almost just a little smoother.

fyi I love my baby steering wheel. You can whip it real quick. Its save me a few times dodging deer. Looks goofy and I didnt like it when I first bought my blazer, but I wont get rid of mine

Nah thats not that bad. The first page of mine takes my phone about 5 min to load lol. I did the same thing as you with starting another over here. And plans to fix the fender rust?

next summer, most likely will cut it out and weld in new parts.

At that time i will be painting the entire truck black as well. :D

Thinking about switching a 2wd front end into my truck and doing something like this.. i was always more of a hotrod, lower truck kinda guy really. but the 4x4 i got was the only thing i could find at the time, also with my lack of credit history i had trouble getting financed.

Where did you get the plastic dip from? That stuff is super cool! :waytogo:

Home depot, 5 bucks a can. :) you can also get it online, pretty cool stuff, still holding up well. if it still looks good by the end of winter then it has my seal of approval. probably wouldnt be so good for the 4 wheeling guys because of all the rubbing against brush and or rocks, but for everyday driver or moderate trail guys its great.

Dang it. Might do my mirrors like how you did tho. I hate chrome to! Does it have a smooth finish or is it kinda rough?

Kind of a middle ground, smooth, but has a texture to it. sorta like a smoother feeling bed liner feel/look. its cheap stuff, and if you dont like it you can peel it off easy, youtube plasti dip.
