The Mistress 1982 K10 (Rockwell Mud Slut)

Awesome! I went to my parents house and got a bunch of old pictures off their computer of my truck so in the meantime of waiting for the next parts for my build I'll actually get a build thread going and quit procrastinating! got the 44's and the 14 bolt put in so now just waiting for that D60 to complete the tons, then after that its gearing, and crossover/hydro assist is the plan! But that will definitely be after the wedding!

Sweet deal! Sounds like a solid set up! 35 spline stubs? haha :D

NICE!! Me and the lil miss are doing a bit of the same. :pimp: Well, there's a long list of upgrades for this winter, and I'm not sure I can really disclose them until I get a green light on some other stuff. Haha, all I can say is, the plans are BIG! :thumb: Keeping the tons, 44s and the motor, lotta other changes though......:woot:

Would that possibly include say around 16 heim joints and 4 of them there coily shocks? :D

***spoiler alert!!*****

Well heres the plan.

Front axle:
-Yukon 4340 inners, outers, and 35 spline stubs
-Lockouts
-Spartan locker
-Artec D60 truss with hydro steering mount
-Artec ultimate highsteer arms with ARP harware and Artec chromo tie rods
-Artec triangulated 4link front with 7/8 upper joints and 1.25 lower joints
-Profender 2.5" coils 14" travel
-Profender 2.0 air bumps 4" travel
-Trail Gear limit straps

Rear axle:
-Artec modular 14bff truss with pinion support
-Profender 2.0 10" travel air shocks
-Profender 2.0 4" travel air bumps
-Trail gear limit straps

Steering:
-Trail Gear 2.5" by 10" travel ram
-Char-lynn steering valve with column and quick disconnect steering wheel
-Braided lines

Transmission:
-TH400 manual valve body 3000 stall (have it)

Transfer case:
-NP205 fixed yoke twin-sticked (have it, all but the sticks)

Drivelines:
-Front and rear will have 10" slips and 1410 joints in both ends.

Thats really about it, keeping leafs in the back for a while. :D

Sounds like an awesome plan. Can't wait to see it in pics.

One question though - why a 3000 rpm stall speed for the TH400? Just curious.

Its a rowdy motor, my 2500 is too tight. Ever tried to drive a truck with a big bump stick and a tight converter?

A buddy of mine Ben Spinney, some of you may know him from TTC, just offered me a set of rockwells for $1500 for the pair, so it looks as though i may be changing my plans...... Again. Haha
