the new calendars are here, the new calendars are here!

They can't be making money of these calendars. I wonder how many they sold?

As most of you don't know, my wife firkin hates my Surburban. Wants nothing to do with it. Won't get in it. But she knows I love it. She thinks I love it more than her.

The funny thing is, after seeing the calendar, she said "We should buy these for everyone in your family"! Awesome! My family likes it and knows how much it means to me. Every time I talk to them sometime in the conversation, the Burb comes up. What are you working on. What did you break this time, they say.

Anyways, I thought it was funny my wife said we should buy some more.

That sucks to hear she "hates" it...
BTW your message box is full.

Can't wait to see the calendar!!
Still don't have my delivery yet...

I don't have my calendars yet, but have only heard that it was well done by others on here.
I haven't ordered in the past since I'm fairly new to the site, so I have nothing to compare to.
It would seem to me that there can only be so many differences in the look of the vehicles based on the style of rigs this site specializes in.

I came to this forum originally -because of the similarity of the rigs.

Am I missing something??
You misinterpreted my post. I don't mean 3 of the same type of truck, I mean 3 of the exact same ones from last year. IE: Member A, B, and C, had their trucks in the 2012 and 2013 calendars with little to no change to their vehicle. It would be a different story if say, a guy who made it last year made it again this year but now his full bodied truck is a truggy or something like that.

Either way, it's an honor to be chosen for the calendar. Everyone who made it in should be very happy. There's some great trucks in there this year

Mine showed up about 5 minutes ago, Never disappointing, Looks great, Thanks for all the hard work Can & Kim!

I believe photo quality has a lot to do with selection. And Paul and Kim have a detailed set of guidelines to follow, I wouldn't want to be the one to sort through all the pics they get and not have those guidelines followed, a big waste of time; other than that:

"Most of you here know about the annual CK5 calendar. For those CK5ers who don't know what I'm talking about, here's the skinny. We accept pics from CK5ers every year, and the very best of those pics end up appearing in said calendar. The best of the best ends up gracing the front cover!!!!

These are the rules:

1. You must be a supporting member of CK5 in good standing.

2. Pics need to be HIGH QUALITY, with a minimum resolution of 1200x1600 pixels. Whenever possible, try to submit pics taken "long side down" so we can maximize page usage. Grainy or out-of-focus pics will not be accepted.

3. Along with your pic, I'll need a short list of your truck's specs, in this order:

Year, make and model, motor, tranny, TC, front and rear axles, gears, lift size and brand, tire size and brand, wheel size and brand(if applicable), any "extras" that you think set your truck apart from others.

As well, please include the location where the pic was taken.

4. We are looking for cool action shots with awesome background scenery. Poser shots will be considered if the background is too good to ignore. If you've purchased a calendar in the past, you know what we're looking for. Keep in mind that this is not a beauty contest- I look forward to receiving pics of ALL KINDS OF RIGS, not just modded-out monsters. Last year, for the second year in a row, we barely got any Suburban pics!!!!

5. We will be accepting submissions until +/-SEPT. 30th, and although this is not first-come, first served, I would appreciate it if you guys could send your stuff into me sooner than later. We have 12 spots to fill, including the cover page, and as usual, we will try to do something cool on the back page......

Anyhow, you can submit your pics to unan at telus dot net. Please include your username AND real name, and mention something about "CK5 calendars" in the title. If you are sending big files(5 MB+), PLEASE SEND YOUR PICS IN SEPARATE EMAILS!!!!!

That's about all I can think of. Like I said before, many of you have bought these calendars in the past, and know what kind of pics we're looking for. Check those inoboxes, hard drives and SD cards- that special pic your buddy took or sent you might just appear in next year's Rigs of CK5 calendar!!!! :thumb:

Our pre-sale thread will be posted up very soon, so keep an eye out for it.

Good luck, lads......."

I saw a lot of potential submissions in the thread, and kept wondering why does everyone put the info in the thread, it needs to be sent on to Paul? I guess it was easy to skip over the detailed instructions.

Cool!

Got my calendars!!
WooooHooo!
I was looking forward to getting mine, without even knowing my ride was in it!!
Front and back are my favorite....

I got nothing yet :dunno:

I got my first calender, not sure where the second one is yet? But the quality is definitely getting better as the years go by... Good job.

I am a bit partial to April , but all of the rigs look great.

As far as what rigs made it. I think the backdrop is as critical to the pics as the rig itself. I think it represents a good cross section of our country(s) / continent and the band of brothers that is CK5. :waytogo:

I think you nailed it right there. :waytogo:

Makes me feel better I made the cover 2 years ago :)

I'm pretty sure both of mine came in the mail yesterday. Just didn't go check it until today. Awesome calendar as always!:waytogo::waytogo: Great job Kim and Paul! The back picture is classic!:haha::waytogo:

Big pappa, if you really need one I always pick up two. I could probably part with one if you want.:pimp::thumb:

Still waiting :doah::dunno:

Got mine yesterday and like always they are awesome, some very good looking pictures and good looking rides!

I got my first calender, not sure where the second one is yet? But the quality is definitely getting better as the years go by... Good job.

Finally got my second one to send to my dad. I'm not sure why they came a few days apart, maybe since I ordered them a few weeks apart. Either way, they are both in.

For the guys that haven't gotten theirs yet, maybe they are being printed and sent in batches and the later orders are going out last :dunno:. Paul, any input?

Nevada is well represented this year. We got 3.5 of 12 months! : bow: (The 1/2 is February, as my wife took that photo on the Rubicon.) I've been on 4 of the trails in this calendar... kinda cool. I've GOT to do that Ourrey, Co trail! : bow: : bow:

This is my first time ordering a calendar, and I gotta say, all the talk in the intial posts this year about calendar quality made me wonder...but these are as nice as any calendar I've ever picked up! I'm no calendarologist, but I think they look great!

Anybody looking to order next year should. Thanks for the work Paul!
