Before we had AC in the house, we had a window swamper. That thing would about freeze us out some evenings.
We got a lot done in the last couple days. All joints have tape and the primary coat of mud, all screws also have a coat of mud. We also finished the drywall on/in the bathroom and painted that.

After working a full day with 3 people in the shop, it's clear I need some sort of sound deadening. With an evap blowing it's impossible to hear what anyone says with all the echoing unless you're only a couple feet apart and looking at each other. I'm really going to look into popcorn ceiling stuff, I think it's the most economical answer.
Yes there is. It’s actually called acoustic out hereIs the popcorn ceiling stuff out there a sound deadener? Out here they just use it to avoid sanding the ceiling, I never realized there was any sound deadening properties. Are you planning on only the ceiling or everywhere?
What he said.Yes there is. It’s actually called acoustic out here
Most of what I'm reading says it doesn't make a noticeable difference, but that's mainly talking about in a house environment, not an industrial environment like my garage.
Bummer, that would have been a fairly easy fix.Yea, that’s what I was assuming. We had it on our ceiling and removed it. Didn’t notice any difference other than being nicer looking.
There's an idea, I can do wall to wall carpeting in the garage!I’ll bet the flooring has alot to do with it too. I noticed a big difference when I replaced my carpet with tile.
I’m sure once you get your MH back in there and all your other stuff, the sound waves will be broken up much better.
Yeah it’s too bad you can’t weld on it! I used to have a piece of carpet I would throw down when I did mobile heavy equipment repair. It was quite comfortable haha! There's an idea, I can do wall to wall carpeting in the garage!
Just don’t grind it...Asbestos carpeting!
