The new shop. Progress.

Thanks. I think the mounting of these ones will be better.

I have the version Scott referenced. They are stout. But I’ll say adjusting the height by hand can be touch if the table is super heavy. Plan to use a screwdriver or pry tool in that case. I can also never see to remember which direction makes it go up/down.

Table weighs 400 pounds. A doubt I would put anything heavier than 200 pounds on it.
I would not hesitate to support 600 lb on a single 3/4" bolt and do not need to do any calculations for that assuming you don't make the bolt 2 feet long. Buckling is the primary mode of failure to be concerned with for this scenario and it is all about height compared to diameter. A couple inches of height compared to 3/4" diameter will not buckle. After that, the strength of the threads in the nut from shearing will be the next failure mode, that will not happen until you exceed 28,000 lb on a grade 5, 3/4" bolt.

You could probably get away with 1/4" bolts to level that light weight table, but keep the height/diameter under 25 and you will be fine.

All put together and ready to weld. Set it up on the lift so I could adjust for level with the pads.

Level with 1/32". Put a Lazer level on the lift.

It is 7pm on Christmas Eve. I guess I should spend some time with my family.

I think @AgDieseler found some trick adjustable casters for his table. Not sure how pricey they are though
I will look forward to his input.
My friend makes fixtures tables, and this is what he uses for all of them. I have a set on my table, bench, and even the English wheel.

They make different ratings, and he has always gone for 2x the planned load. They roll over normal dust, but will protest at larger chunks of stuff. To me, it’s a worthy trade off for the ability to level. I keep my floor pretty clean, anyway.

Done. Until the casters get here.

That’s a pretty slick setup. Merry Christmas for sure.

I need 1 of those wire spool racks. I am converting my old tool/ work cart to 12v electrical.
Already full, but no where near as many draws.
