The Official '72 build thread

I also decieded to do a roll in bedliner instead of the spray-in its gonna end up being cheaper so i can dump the other funds into paint....I did some reviews on the dupli-color and overall there were good things being said about it..Ill give it a shot.

Also got the gauge cluster painted... the chrome was showing black through it and looked like poo overall. I still need to paint the needles and spray some black on the face, but am happy with the silver

Tires are a good babysitter too!:haha:

I wouldn't go with the Duplicolor if you plan on hauling anything at all. My buddy ran it and its all coming off now.

I used herculiner on my K5 on the inside of my tub and havent chipped it yet, even with tool boxes and other crap rolling around in the bed.

Ive been bustin my butt on bodywork lately so not too many pictures to post progress but this is how she sits today, I am hoping to get it into paint by next weekend

Cool build man, the paint looks good. My bro lives right down the street with a blue blazer parked out front. He still hasn't put in that 14bff.

well the 38s are on hold till december at the latest. I just traded off my 39.5 boggers for some 35" boggers with way better tread! Plus now I can run them without having to worry about fender cutting! I will be installing the drivetrain, axles and lift over labor day weekend. My little guy sure does like it!
