It was originally an automatic, I havent installed the drivetrain yet so I will cut the hole when I know where to cut it.

looks great! i myself just rolled my first 72 k5 off the trailer and into the shop tonight! so i might be pesting you for some info from time to time. Btw were did you get the new dash pad? LMC?

well its red, and the paint on the roof was black. missing the trim on the rockers and damn i wish mine looked that clean! lol did i mention there's no motor or trans/transfer case in it right now! Next year ill have her on the street. im not gona rush it right now. im gona take my time and do it up right.
