The problem w/ sittin' over the front tires is......

The only thing I disliked about my '66 Econoline Van was that I was the first one there to every accident.

Where is your seatbelt?

For the passenger, I had a full harness..... For me, I only have a seatbelt. It may not be easily visible in the pic, but I assure you I was wearing it.

It is kinda funky goin' off of stuff sitting up there. But it's a small price to pay for the advantage of having all that visibility during climbs and boulder fields..... Hell, you can even "spot" yourself most of the time! :thumb:

A bit scary!

I had a 63 VW bus,and my brother had a 67 ford econoline "pickup" van..riding in them could get scary!..I used to make girls scream and nearly wet their panties in my bus,by pulling right up to the edge of a pond, lake,or riverbank--it looked like we were going in the drink, when actually, the front tires were still on terra firma!... :haha:

LOL, I can imagine it would seem a bit scarier from that perspective :o

The more I look at it the more I think marv didn't really build a kick ass buggy...
