Funny, I’m doing the same thing with a vw at the moment and thought of the same person.

Nice, I bypassed the ignition switch and hot wired the car… I guess transferring the switch to the new housing it broke…I have 2 starters with good motors. One has a bad contact across the relay to the motor, the other has a stripped post

I want to see the balancer than can spin a block to balance it.So what block?
Is it internally balanced? (Not that it matters much.)
Not sure why that would be needed.
