I took the body off, and rounded up the spare parts.
The first couple things you break, you'll have replacements for.

Now to get a box in similar dimensions to the crawler.

Pull the wheels and shocks to ship it. Fits in one of the USPS if it ships it fits boxes.

my kids got their presents.. and they love them.. the sumo is already 2s lipo but the trekker (black one) wasnt.. but last night converted it and wow this thing hauls ass now.. and has creeping power... also put 2 of the baja claws on it and will do the other 2 tonight...

I am super stoked for this

Crawler was shipped this morning.

The ESC finally took a crap this morning.
It wouldn't do anything but steer, no matter how many times I reset it.

Needed replacing anyway.
Honestly, you'll be happier with a new remote and receiver.
The traxxas one was frustrating as all get out.

I pulled the tires and upper shocks, and it slid right into a Flat Rate box.
The tires fit perfectly on the sides of the crawler.
It's almost like KTM' knew what he was taking about...

Anyhow, she's on her way to you.
Pm'ing you tracking in a second.

Took this as an excuse to build myself an Axial Exo Terra. Thing is SWEET. First kit RC I've built, not all that difficult but very time consuming. Nice to know that I've turned every hex on the chassis though.
Leaving body panels off - too lazy to paint and looks WAY badass with just the cage.

Up to three RC's now: Exo Terra, 2wd SC Truck, Axial SCX10 Honcho. Should be good to go for any terrain from here.

The only problem I see is no fixed wing and boats. Other than that, I see no issues.

But, those are toy-quality.

PROOF:

First, the breakdown of a 1:24 scale Blazer.....

OMG, the drivlines actually go into the TC!!!!

Peep the Trussed axles...

9-bolt!??

Dual bypass shocks, and NP205.... (the detail is amazing!)

Body off....

Uh-oh.... Framerails gotta go!

This ESC has to move, as well....

Seriously, I commend the amount of detail these rigs have!

This is goin' back in....

The framerail used to be the spacer.
Four tiny washers on each side solved the issue....

Had to drill out some holes for the Crawler's Shock Towers.
Also, Dremel'd out a space for the ESC, under the engine bay.

That looks about right....

Like a glove!
(grounded the body-mold tabs down, as well.)

Test-fitting...

After EXTENSIVE rewiring....

Ya.... I sure did.
The top-half of the engine is mounted atop the ESC.
(I accidentally popped the valve covers off... They have rockers underneath!)

So happy I kept the engine!

Did some body trimming, to clear the tires @ full flex.

Headlights are in the works, as well as a LiPo Battery, and HD Bumpers.

well i was able to get 2 x 350mah 2s zippy batteries into my 6yr olds sumo..
got to get one of these into the trekker...
